Retreat Behaviour Expectations

The Retreat forms are now available for the 2012 Retreats. Please Read, sign and return bottom portion of the form to SLD by June 8, 2011

Students will depart from the school in the morning of the beginning of the retreat, and will return before 3 PM on the last day of the retreat. The dates are Gr. 10 Sept. 17-19; Gr. 11 Sept. 19-21; Gr. 12 Oct. 3-5.

The Eden Grade Retreats is one of the many privileges that our students enjoy. It is a time for them to come together to learn and grow in a new and different environment. In order to continue to provide this program, there are certain behavioral guidelines that our students must follow. Before any student is accepted to come with us, the following form must be read, understood and signed by both the student and the parent and returned, with final payment, to the Spiritual Life Department by June 8, 2012.

  • Should any damage be done to any of Camp Crossroads property, the student(s) involved will be required to pay for the damage.
  • While we anticipate that our students will exceed our expectations. Should situations requiring discipline arise, parents will be notified and if necessary asked to pick up their child. The following items are not welcome at Camp:
    -alcohol
    -cigarettes
-illegal drugs (students requiring medication must notify a member of the SLD)
    -fireworks, firearms, lighters, electronics
  • Our hope is that our students will continue to respect and honour the volunteers who give of their time to build relationships with them, recognizing that disrespect is inappropriate. The following things are expected of our students:
-prompt and attendance at all activities
    -proper meal etiquette
    -proper bus etiquette
    -respecting lights out
-respect for all those in leadership
    -respect for fellow students
-students are only allowed in their assigned cabin
